MANAGING YOUR WELLBEING:
Critical Skills for Interpersonal and Clinical Effectiveness
Saturday, June 21, 2025 | 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM | Richmond Hill, ON
Workshop Description
You care for others every day—but how do you tend to yourself?
This interactive workshop is designed for physiotherapists and rehabilitation professionals who want to build long-term emotional resilience, prevent burnout, and enhance the quality of care they deliver.
Through a mix of evidence-based learning, guided reflection, and small-group discussion, you’ll explore how your emotions influence your clinical work and vice versa, and how self-care can become a consistent practice.
What You'll Learn:
Shift your mindset around self-care—from a luxury (occasional vacations) to a necessary part of your daily clinical practice (in-the-moment skills).
Recognize intense emotions that can arise during patient encounters and learn how to work with them.
Understand the role of emotions through a biopsychosocial lens and how they impact the rehab process —for you and your patients.
Create a personalized action plan to support your well-being specific to your needs as a helping professional.
